Cameron had Monday off so we decided to get out of the house for a while and Drove up to Mt Lemmon. We picnicked and hiked around for the afternoon. The weather was perfect!
The kids were going crazy finding colored bb's. We walked up this dry creek bed for a while finding them.
I couldn't get over how cool this bark looked...so smooth and chocolaty.
One of the lookout spots that you can pull over to has a bunch of rock outcroppings that you can climb around on.
This tree was so cool looking. About 7 years ago(I think) there was a big fire on Mt Lemmon but I wonder if this tree encountered it or if its just cool on its own.
Believe it or not it does snow hear in Tucson and when Mt Lemmon gets enough you can go skiing and their icon is a snow capped lemon so of course we Lemon's get a picture taken by this sign every time we go up.

Isn't it great having a fun last name!! I've always loved taking pic's of the kids with sea gulls at the beach, etc.!
That's so cool that you have a ski resort named after you!
